Dr. Jenora Kwaning is a distinguished Ghanaian educator, farmer, United Nations IGF Resource Person, European Union (EU)) Expert, past Secretary General Candidate for the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP)-Den Haag, former Office of the District Assembly Aspirant-Republic of Ghana, former P.R.O Candidate-SESA University of Education, Winneba (UEW), an academia, international researcher, politician, good political practices advoco, international leader, diplomat, good/sustainable peace practice specialist andlicensed legal professional in the field of ADR Practice, Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation & Conciliation and lastly peacebuilding advocate.
He currently serves as the Secretary General, Director, and Chief Executive Officer of the International Teachers Association (ITA), where he leads global initiatives to strengthen professional standards, enhance teacher collaboration, and advance quality education worldwide.
In addition to his executive role, he is a Board Member of the ITA Honorary Degree Board and the 2nd Vice?'Chairman of the ITA Executive Ethical Board, providing strategic guidance and ethical oversight for the association. Previously, he has served as Executive Secretary and currently the Senior Global Project Director (Sr.GPD), playing a central role in expanding ITA’s international presence and professional programs.
Dr. Kwaning is a licensed Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) professional, specializing in mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and conflict transformation.
He is also a Global Peace Ambassador (GPAmB) with the Global Peace Chain, promoting global dialogue, youth leadership, and initiatives that advance peaceful and sustainable communities.
He is a Chartered Politician and Chartered Political Practitioner at the Global Institute of Politicians (GIOP) and serves as the Head of the Office of the Secretary General of GIOP, where he oversees strategic coordination and leadership development programs for the institute.
In addition to his educational and political work, Dr. Kwaning holds diplomatic recognition as Kanzleirät (Chancery Councillor), Diplomatic Staff Member, and Ambassador-at-Large of the Orden des Königreichs Preußen in the Federation of Russia, contributing to international diplomacy, cultural engagement, and institutional relations.
