ANTHONY OPIO

BIOGRAPHY

I am 41 years old, a civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the built environment in Uganda and South Sudan. I graduated with a Second Class Honors Bachelor's degree from Makerere University, Kampala. I also attained a professional designation as a certified construction project management specialist from the Cambridge Academy of Professionals - UK, and World Academy-UK, in addition to a number of other professional trainings. 

I am an emerging trainer and educational entrepreneur who founded Glastec Academy ( not yet rolled out), providing online, modular, and stackable micro-credentials that lead to professional qualifications for mid-level career engineers, NGO, and government staff who would want to attain high-quality, industry-focused training. My focus is on practice-based learning and curriculum design, tailored to international standards. 

I am passionate about sharing my experience through training, and reaching a wider coverage through online education.
